Banner Baywood, located in Mesa, Arizona, is a major health care provider in the eastern region of the Phoenix metropolitan area.  Continued population growth and success with strategic initiatives at the Baywood Hospital and adjacent Heart Hospital has stressed the existing facilities.  Frank Zilm, along with Orr Architectural Consulting, was selected as part of a team to develop program and master plan concepts for the campus.  The project, lead by the architectural firm of  Westlake Reed Leskosky, included the development of facilities for critical care, acute patient care, expansion of surgery services, and major improvements to the Heart Hospital programs.
