The University of Missouri Primary Care Clinic

The strategic goal of this project is to provide a primary care, Family Medicine clinic in close proximity to a residential area in the southwest area of Columbia, Missouri. This project was developed in a design/build format, with the initial program, design concept and outline specifications prepared by Fred Powers Architects. The final design and construction was executed by a team including Cannon Architects. As a team member of the initial programming/design team, Dr. Zilm worked with the University Administration, medical staff and planners from the University Hospital and the project architects to develop a functional space program and an initial design concept. A "modular" concept was developed which should allow adaptability and future expansion of the facility.
