Providing a safe/functional emergency environment that can respond to potential terrorist events is the primary objective of this research study funded through the US Office of Emergency Readiness.   Frank Zilm joined the team lead by HKS and Pickard Chilton to develop program and functional concepts for this major grant to Washington Hospital Center.  The finding and recommendations are currently be translated into a case study facility for Washington Hospital Center.  Visit the ER-1 web site to learn more about this study – www.er1.org.
