Frank Zilm & Associates, Inc., working with Orr Architectural Consulting and Kent Spreckelmeyer, FAIA, assisted the KU Medical Center in development of facility plans for Heart services.  Activities included modeling existing and projected space needs, analysis of facility development options, and the documentation of a detailed space program.

The additional, designed by RTKL, opened in 2007.
