Frank Zilm & Associates, Inc. was selected to develop a comprehensive master plan for the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses of Children's Hospital and Clinics in 2000.  Scope of the studies included the evaluation of space needs at the two main campuses and the development of other sites within the Hospital system.  

Over a four month period the planning team completed a comprehensive review of existing services, analysis of projected space needs and site specific recommendations for immediate and long term development.  These recommendations lead to development of detailed facility program and space analysis for the Neonatal Intensive Care unit at the St. Paul campus and the review of major facility development options for the Children's system.

Participating in the study were Corlett Orr, AIA (Orr Architectural Consults), and Georgeann Burns (the Austin Group) and Kent Spreckelmeyer.
