Based on the successful execution of projects at Hillcrest, South Points, and
other components of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, Frank Zilm,D.Arch.,FAIA
was retained early in 2001 to assist in the programming of space for a major
Heart Center addition to the main Cleveland Clinic campus.
Working with administration, physicians, and the local architects, FZA, Inc.
has provided workload analysis, computer modeling, space programming and
conceptual diagrams for Cardiovascular Surgery, Cardiac Catheterization,
Electrophysiology, CCU, ICU, imaging and selected support services. It is
anticipated that work will continue through 2001 on this important addition to
the Clinic's campus.
The Cleveland Clinic
opened its new Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Pavilion and the Glickman
Tower in September, 2008, a major addition housing heart and other
services, including inpatient and critical care beds. Designed by
Bostwick Design Partnership and NBBJ, the surgery, cardiology and
critical care components were programmed by Frank Zilm & Associates,
Inc.
