Upgrading of Critical Care, Surgery and support facilities at Memorial hospital in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, lead to an exhaustive study of internal remodeling options and new construction.  Working closely with the project architects - Costanza Spector Clauser of Morrestown, NJ, a concept was developed which replaces most of the existing Surgery and Critical Care with a new wing north of the existing complex, tied into support services in the existing complex.  The Critical Care services include 24 beds subdivided into three pods of eight beds.  Surgery will include nine operating rooms and support services.
