Chapter Authored in Joint Commission Publication

Frank Zilm and Tib Tusler, FAIA have co-authored a chapter in the recently released book Planning, Design, and Construction of Health Care Environments. Published by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the chapter, "Predesign:Focusing the Project" discusses key steps and decisions in the initiation of a building project, including the organization of the planning team, development of a project schedule, programming and planning.  Other chapters in the book cover issues related to master planning, design, construction along with a review of major trends affecting the health care industry.
